A life cycle are the changes that happen to animals as they grow. Life cycles happen in stages, or steps. Some stages happen fast, but some can happen really slow! 

There are lots of different things that help animals have healthy growth through their life cycles. If you go outside and look around you, you might see some life cycles. What things are in those animals environments that help them? In a frog's environment, you might find grass, insects for food, and water.
